A topic is created for each new contest. In that thread you can post if you are joining the contest, post map screenshots of your progress and anything that concerns the contest. The contests are about 2 months in length and after deadline is reached, a new topic is created with all the submission where you can see all the submissions and vote for your favorite. There will be no judges, votes will determine the winner. Only registered users can vote and when voting you should take these things in consideration:
* Visuals (textures, architecture)
* Amosphere,(sound, light, feeling)
* Gameplay (layout, fun factor, flow, powerup weapons placement)
When you place a vote, please tell us why voted for that map.
Another thing that we think is important is to start from scratch. Not having a map that is 80% finished when entering the contest. Let's make these contests creative, fun and really push and help each other out to deliver good, fun, quality maps!
