This is an issued that has been on my mind for years. Like at what point does CPU / RAM is too much or to little one way or the other? Where it does not make a difference anymore? [EoM] Digital just got a really fast fast fast machine, and we had a chat about this. www.techimo.com/forum/general-tech-discussion/129218-when-does-too-much-ram-become-overkill.html[EoM] Digital 3.0 : I just got a new computer yesterday, its not my custom but its an HP Pavillion intel DualCore running Vista with 3 GB ram, 500 GB hard drive.

Well just for records, my computer is as follows: Intel 2.7 Ghz dual core 2 Gig Ram -(512 shared with graphics) 512 MB GeForce 9300 GE graphic card -(1007 MB including shared RAM) 500 Gig HD Blu-Ray DVD, DVD/CD writer, Lightscribe etc Vista Home Premium I play Q2 at absolute max everything I play battlefield 2 and command and conquer 3 at max everything but I have to keep anti-aliasing off as that causes a bit of jerkiness. I also play Need for speed pro street, Test drive unlimited and Colin Mcrae Dirt but have to carefully adjust graphic settings accordingly. I think that you can never have enough RAM !!!! At least 2 Gig if you have vista and at least 1 Gig for XP, especially with service pack 3
