Wow you never cease to amaze me of the knowledge you know about q2 files. Knowing about pak files and textures is out of my league. Although I do know how to get a pak client and open a pak and download a sound from the net and rename it to whatever the machinegun sound is and have that new sound. But I never really went in depth with it. I have 4mb vid card so hi res probably won't fly with this machine. And I do have higher ping also so that might make a difference too. I just wanted to see if it worked but I guess we will see. I haven't even heard the quake4 sounds yet are they nice? Anything knew would be cool to check out. In the mean time I downloaded RealistiC's pak file and its not bad but I like the countdown on the nades that you have made. Another thing the crosshair you start out with on real's is not for me I like that red crosshair you have. But it is a good pak I like the sounds most about it. So I guess I will switch back to v2 for now. Thanks, I pwned with that pak anyway  |
