I've done some additions to our [EoM] structure ( don't like to use the word rules )

Rule # 1 Have FuN ! thats why we are here.


1a No cheating of any kind will be tolerated, cheaters will be
terminated! Their IP's will be banned from [EoM] servers, and
will be distributed to other admin's for their ban logs!

2 Respect! Respect! Respect!
Respect for your clanmates is first and foremost!

3) No bad sportmanship, treat your fellow gamers with respect.
Other gamers deserve the same respect that you would expect
from them. Rule 2 applies here too!(exceptions are rule 4)

4 Defend your clan brothers and sisters at all cost in front of
others. Discuss differences if any, in private.

5 It is a policy of Clan [EoM] NOT to recruit from other clans.

* Probation period is 30 days for all new recruits!
Minimum age for recruits is 18 years, no maximum age!* legal crap*


This can be amended as required, but you get the Idea

mIRC is a great way to meet other players and other Quake Groups. It is also a good way to msg players that you may not have on a IM ( instant messenger )

I would like to suggest to the staff that when someone joins they have to play a few games with any of the staff members to officially join. In those games get to know them and post screenies... I guess that might be a given but good points in this topic.

Yes, some Quake 2 groups still have "try outs" to join.

We can see and select a potential member just by playing on the servers and seeing their attitude, sportspersonship, etc.

I like to idea of suggesting to the NEW member to start their own screenie thread.
