There is a fix posted on hexblog to address that issue. Which is funny cause Microsoft used that code or snippets of it to create their fix..

Been an advid windows user for years, and have not had any problems with it. Yes it's flawed and can if not harden correctly be trouble.

I use the following:

avg Professional
Ad-Aware Professional
Spywareblaster
Spybot S&D
Buggoff (merlyn )
Firefox 1.5.0.1
Seamonkey

In addition after researching it I have disabled many of the troublesome services and to date have not have any problems with WINXP Pro running only 17 essential services.
