Great news for me ! The place I am moving to have been vacated. I'll be moving my life slowly over the next several days. It took me 8 months to get this place because Victoria has a very low vacancy rate. only 3 units per 1000 at any time. The reason, it's a very desirable place to live. We get over a million visitors every year. 130 cruise ships port here. Lots of $$$$$.Many are American, lots from Asia and Europe too. My new place has wireless internet connect included. I never used that, I hope that it isn't a lame ass slow speed. We'll see, the positive side is that it is cable. Peace

Wireless can be reasonably fast, even the slowest standard is likely as fast as the internet connection that it's sharing. What's bad for gaming is the inconsistency you'll probably see, your ping will be all over the map.

I don't know if this is true in America or Canada but here "wireless" is 1.1MB/s ..... thats not restricted by anyone just all that all that "wireless" can handle ...... as far as I know anyway. I am on the fastes DSL plan available to residential customers here in New Zealand and I get a download speed of 5.5MB/s and an upload of 0.550 MB/s ...... 5500kb/s and 550 kb/s upload ..... in other words my download transfer rate is 700kb/s which i need as we have 4 computers sharing the same line

Things are happening with the move, I am simply waiting for the property manager to give me the ok to move in. I was there today and it's 80 % ready. To keep it simple, I may drop off line anytime. and do not know exactly how long it will take to re-establish it, as it's the wireless thing. I'll let you all know when the time comes.

NOON Friday is the GO.
I'll start moving after FFF (unless something else happens)
Saturday is "THE" moving day. I am fortunate to have a friend to help, so it will be quick. ( freaken moving, pain in the ass .. lol )
Regarding the wireless issue, as Focalor said ,I may have to get a card and deal with the issues that come with it.
REMEMBER Everyone: How High? What Texture? LOL ;D
I'll be back ASAP from the new location.

If you are on a public computer that dosn't have IM, you can go to web messenger...... This will bring up a web page based version of MSN that dosn't require the installation of MSN it's self .... I use this when I am at school as we are not allowed to use or instal MSN there. webmessenger.msn.com/

Took me nearly 2 months to get setup here, but thats New Zealand for you. My ISP phone operators are indians or something..... cheaper to pay them $5.00 an hour compared to minimum wage of $12.00 here in New Zealand.
